Swan Hill Windscreens Collision Repair Centre was established in 1983 originally trading as Swan Hill Windcreens. In 2003 we changed the name to include the reference to Collision Repairs to promote the dual business and services offered. In 1983 the partnership with O’Brien Glass began offering a nation wide service.

Our facilities include luxurious offices, an expanded workshop, handicap facilities for our clients, up to date premises, as well as facilities and equipment.

Our goal of high staff retention and staff satisfaction is achieved with the approach of staff input to the day to day running of the business. The office is run by our friendly business manager with extensive experience in bookkeeping and communication and the workshop is managed by our highly regarded workshop manager. Other staff contributions include our OH & S officer. We prideourselves on having a sound understanding of the industry expectation and guidelines undertaking regular training – Industry Code of Conduct: Gordon Institute of TAFE – apprentice training: VACC training: Spies Hecker – Paint product and technique upgrades and O’Brien Glass – product and equipment training.
The decision making process of our business is a team structure. Although the manager of the business is the ultimate decision maker he encourages staff input into the day to day running of the business. This not only includes input into workload but also promotional aspects of the business. This in turn builds team leadership qualities and provides an injection of fresh ideas.
OH & S – Industry guidelines dictate the basis of our OH & S policy however along with our existing workshop safety officer, the recent employment of our newest administration staff with extensive experience in OH & S and in particular OH & S auditing, has improved our knowledge in this regard. Updating and enhancement of our existing system is currently underway and constantly under review.
As part of our renovation process considerable research was carried out to ensure that the investment we made into the rebuilding of the premises was money well spent. We looked at other high quality panel repair businesses, other administration offices and combined the best of each. The results are outstanding and are being met with high praise.
In the ever competitive market and having to work within the restraints of the insurance industry, we are constantly researching better supply options whilst maintaining local industry relationships. For products we cannot source locally we have joined the Capricorn buying group which streamlines our billing system and also minimizes time spent researching parts.
